Titlepool – Design System & Platform Foundations
Overview
When I joined, Titlepool had no structured design system. Each feature was designed in isolation, leading to inconsistent visuals, duplicated patterns, and slow engineering handoff. I built the company’s first end-to-end system to unify design, speed up releases, and create a scalable foundation for growth.
My Contribution
- Defined color tokens, typography scales, and interaction states to establish visual consistency.
- Designed and documented reusable components including buttons, forms, navigation, and modals.
- Built a shared Figma library linked with the React component set for seamless implementation.
- Partnered with over 12 engineers to align on naming conventions, spacing rules, and interaction specs.
Impact & Metrics
- Feature release cycles dropped from 2–3 weeks to just over 1 week.
- Handoff and QA friction significantly reduced due to improved documentation.
- 80% of new features adopted system components within the first quarter.
Key Challenges
Migrating legacy designs across Figma and production required balancing modernization with existing technical constraints.
Highlights
- Created an AI-powered omni-search bar pattern for faster data access.
- Designed an extendable, modular payment summary component that could scale across product contexts.
