Categorisation runs server-side, not on device. That one call set the latency budget for the home screen and shaped the whole sync design, but it meant the model could be retrained without shipping an app update.

Before: every feature designed in isolation, slow handoff. After: release cycles dropped from two to three weeks to just over one, and 80% of new features adopted system components inside the first quarter. Aligned twelve-plus engineers on naming, spacing and interaction specs.

Reading through EventKit rather than building sync means it already sees iCloud, Google, Exchange and Outlook on day one. No integrations, no OAuth, and nothing ever leaves the phone.

Raw RSSI swings several decibels standing still, so the number never appears. Median-of-five rejects spikes, then an adaptive average smooths hard at rest and reacts fast when you move. Calm and snappy at the same time.

No brief on this one. Vision Pro had just shipped and I wanted to see BeReal in that form, so I drew the capture screen and stopped there. The front camera inset sits over the room you are actually standing in rather than a photo of it, and the shutter, the audience control and the location sit where a headset can reach them. An exercise, not a pitch.
